Hey Jason,
Regarding CSS resets, what is your viewpoint on using CSS normalisation (standardizing styles) in comparison to CSS resets?

Hey Matt, using CSS normalisation is definitely 1 step forward from a CSS reset. So definitely something to use.

You mention that we have a design in Photoshop and that that design often isn’t reflected in the final product. Isn’t responsive design an opportunity to get away from designing in tools like Photoshop and starting in the browser/device? There seems little point in presenting a design for a flexible medium in a static one.

With responsive design these days, starting in browser is a great idea. Using a mobile first philosophy is also a great way to start thinking about not using Photoshop as your starting point.

Your recommendations for a special font embedding method which works across the widest range of browsers. I’ve had some problems with font rendering methods lately in terms of responsive design

Check out typekit.com, fontsquirrel.com as well as google.com/webfonts. You’ll be sorted!

fontsquirrel.com is awesome if you only have a font file, it will create a font stack and convert the file to the relavent formats for you.
